My dear Brother Byron,

Thanks for your refreshing letter and the lamp. This present darkness is easy to explain. Some sixty years ago, all churches had a street meeting. That light of testimony has gone out. Then there use to be a weekly prayer meeting . Now that light has gone out. There also use to be a Sunday night service. In most churches, that now is gone. There use to be ten lights (the Ten Commandments) in every classroom. Now those lights have been snuffed out. But God will yet arise and scatter his enemies!
A man must hear the voice of God before he can be a voice for God. Man's only two options are the blood of the Lamb or the wrath of the Lamb. Smart men walk on the moon, daring men walked on parts of the ocean floor. But wise men walk with God. There are no great or small people in the kingdom of God., only faithful and unfaithful.
Right now I need guidance. There are worldwide calls for ministry. It may be that I will go to London, England. In the new London arena, they are expecting 11,000 people, seventy per cent of which may be preachers. Also, what an opportunity to be with you there and speak for two hours each day to Life Action Ministries. His will alone matters in it all.
Martha and I deeply appreciate your material and spiritual support.
Our love and prayers for all,
Leonard Ravenhill
