Take Me Away

Take me away oh God,
Through the field of time,
Away from mother, away from father,
Let me leave this world behind,
Let me travel far away from here,
Grant that my soul will find peace,

Far away from this place.

Let me go among the deer,
To the place where the sun sets
Let me go among the wolves
To the place where the moon rises

Let me walk through the meadow,
and see the beacons of light
Let me sit by the river,
and see the clouds above

May I drop my possessions like weights,
May I drop all things and be free from all
Only a slave to Christ
Lift me Heavenward!

Take me away from the vain actors, away from the artificial lights of the city,
Grant that I may be with the angels, close to You oh True Light,
Give me death if I will be closer to you,
make my body corpse if I can go on!

Take me away from them far to the field of time,
Take me away to the North so that I can dance among the northern lights,
Take me away to the West so that I can see what the Faith has inspired,
Take me away to the East so that I may rest my soul in the Holy City,
Take me away to the South so that I may be with my true family,

Take me away oh God,
Through the field of time,
Away from mother, away from father,
Let me leave this world behind,
Let me travel far away from here,
Grant that my soul will find peace,

Far away from this place.

Oh God Remember the Inuit and may they remember You

Oh God remember the Inuit and may they remember You.

In the bitter cold it sinks back, in icy water it watches
Seeing what it can capture, and drag into the darkest part of the waters
It calls like a siren and crushes like a giant,
Its winds blow mightily, but in Christ it is cast aside

Oh God remember the Inuit, remember their suffering
Do not turn Your eyes from the body that lays, from the family who mourns
In suicide we have lost a son, in self-murder we have lost a daughter
Remember the Inuit; lead them ever into Your Light, away from the darkness

Christ You stand victorious in the arctic winds, You walk upon the waters
Extending Your hands You give mercy to those who seek You, You save them from the darkness
You call as a Hero, saving as the Almighty
Christ stands victorious, the creature is driven back

Let the people recall the Message they were told long ago, let them not be apathetic towards it
For You know oh God that Your Gospel is a Light unto all people
In Your kindness You bore their sins, let them recognize Your Atonement
Oh Christ in Your death they may have life, in Your suffering they may be healed

In the darkness of the night there goes another man to take flight
Away from family and those who love him--he is called by the creature of the sea
On his way to death please stop him before the waters become too deep
Before his family once more will weep!

Oh God remember the Inuit, and may they remember You
In the darkest times, let them look to You as Light
In the best of times may they look to You in praise
In Your Resurrection may they also raise
May they forever remember You, for in You the spirit of suicide is slain

Canada May Become an Agnostic majority country by 2050

Canada's Religion Demographics in 2001:

In 2001 Canada was a clear Catholic-majority country with Protestants 15% behind.

2011:

Ten years later the country is a very different place: Catholics, mostly from Quebec have left their faith behind while Protestants (which is defined as including anyone who identifies as a Christian who is not a Catholic or Eastern Orthodox) has declined to a lesser extent. The number of those identifying as none-religious jumped dramatically by 7% and the number of Canadians adhering to Islam went up to 3%.

If the trend continues, by 2051 Canada's Religious Demographics will look something like this:

Of course it's unlikely that the trends will continue for the next four decades; it's unlikely for example that less than 20% of Canadians will identify as Catholic, or that other religions (Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism ect.) will be reduced to 1% of Canadians by 2051.

Like Christ, May I be

Oh God rebuke me if I am false,
If I am deceived about my Salvation,
If I am not born again, rebuke me
If I am deluded, show me the Light!

I confess my sins before You,
None is righteous apart from You,
I confess I have been impure,
But by You, I am made pure.

Christ was born of God,
Christ was born of the virgin,
In Him I am born of God,
Though I came also from a women

Christ was baptized,
The Father testifies 'This is My Son.”
I am baptized,
The Father testifies “You have been made My son, I have adopted you.”

Christ was lead into the desert by the Holy Spirit,
Christ was tempted by Satan but never sinned,
I am lead by the Holy Spirit,
I am tempted by Satan and in Christ I am forgiven

Christ forgave all who pleaded for forgiveness,
Christ redeems the souls of those who put their faith in Him,
I must forgive all who seek forgiveness,
I am redeemed for I have put my faith in Him

Christ took up His cross and all suffering,
Christ atoned for sin under God's wrath
I must take up my cross and bear the suffering that must be,
My sins are atoned for under God's mercy

Christ rose again on the third day,
God testifies that Christ is the Messiah,
I will rise again to life,
God testifies that if I am His I will raise in Him

Christ ascended to Heaven and took His rightful place,
He sits at the right hand of the Father; He is Lord of Heaven and Earth,
I will ascend to Heaven and take my place by grace,
I will be seated with Him; I will be His forever and ever.

Come Join the Dance

Won't you come and join the dance?
Listen to the music among the prance?
Join us here men and women, together as one eternally,
Look at the centre and see the God we worship, join us all in the beauty

Leave your rags behind, forsake all that is impure
Have faith in the Light and embrace Him
Forsake the lie and be humble,
Yield to the Truth and do not be proud,

Be my brother, be my sisters
Take His hand and dance with me,
Express your love and be pure
Be in this place and have no fear

Join the Universe in it's new chorus,
Join the animals in this dance,
Join the Cherubim is this wonder,
Join the Seraphim in this dance of praise

Look to the centre see Who we worship,
Truth and God are One,
Purity and God are together,
Goodness is the Way of God

Before Him wickedness melts away,
By His blood is forgiveness,
Before Him is all Heaven,
By Him all the Earth is,
Before Him are His saints,
By Him they have Eternal Life,
Below Him are the damned,
By Him they received their judgement
In Him is truth, purity, righteousness and glory
Without Him is deceit, wickedness and shame

Embrace Him and have life; we have eaten from the Tree of Knowledge let us eat from the Tree of Life
Embrace Him and know Him; we learn much of the universe, let us learn of God;
Embrace Him and be pure; we travel with wickedness, let us bathe in River of Life from the Throne
Embrace Him and be light; the darkness opens its mouth, let us be lifted away by the light

Oh Christ save them,
Let them dance with us,
Let Your song be one of love,

Slay the darkness but let the children of darkness be made free!

Oh GOD You Are Lord over Death

Oh death embrace me,
Oh death come close and end my life,
Stop my beating heart, end it's pain
If you had the power wouldn't I cease to be?

But you are a tool, not the Creator
An object, not God
The God Who gives life also gives death
Oh God why have you cursed me to live?

Why did You make me seeing my life?
Why did You not end me seeing what would happen?
That my slaughter would be Your delight, that You would have this mercy on me
You have left me here on this island, away from my longing; to lay down in the grave

You gave me a voice but made it difficult for me to speak,
You gave me compassion but you made it difficult for me to show love,
You gave me family but now I must watch as they all pass away,
You gave me life, but I long for the end.

I cannot help but see Your blessings, meaning in throughout the moments
I thank You for the virtues that come from Your Salvation,
But I long for a desert to go to, detachment from the family I love
If I go away I may find contentment, if I stay I will continue to face hardship

You are just in all You do, the universe is Yours forever
You will live forever, on earth people can always be in relationship with You
When I pass away, You will remain
Whoever speaks to the dead speaks in vain, but whoever seeks You is committed to a virtue

Oh death, bow before Him!
If He commands you to strike me let it be my delight,
If my heart stops beating praise God with me,

He has the power; may He end my life on earth.
